SUMMARY:Dive Deeper: Exploring Spirituality & Ways of Prayer
DESCRIPTION:This is a group for adults age 30-45 approximately who wish to explore contemporary spirituality and spiritual practice. The group has a contemplative approach\, drawing on Christian spirituality and Eastern practices such as mindfulness. The aim is to help you find a way of prayer that works for you and that will cultivate inner awareness\, stillness\, and insight. Each session will introduce a way of prayer or meditation. SUMMARY:First World War exhibition
DESCRIPTION:There will be an exhibition on Fr Michael Bergin SJ (as circled in the photo) and the five other Jesuits who served as chaplains with the Australian forces in the First World War at Roscrea Library\, Tipperary\, October 2nd to 31st 2017. Fr Bergin holds the distinction of being the only member of the whole Australian forces to never to have set foot in Australia\, and the only Catholic chaplain serving to have died as a result of enemy action. The exhibition will be launched by Simon Mamouney\, First Secretary and Deputy Head of Mission Australian Embassy\, on Wednesday\, 4 October 2017 at 6.30pm at Roscrea Library\, Tipperary. All are welcome.

SUMMARY:Adult Education Certificate in Spirituality
DESCRIPTION:The Adult Education Certificate in Spirituality is a two-year part-time evening programme run in partnership with Lumen Dominican Centre\, Sion Hill Campus\, Blackrock\, Dublin. \nThe programme takes place on Thursday evenings from 7.00–9.30pm with a 30 minute tea break\, and there are six Saturday workshops each year from 10.00am–4.00pm. The programme involves a combination of teaching by experienced lecturers\, group discussion and the use of journaling. Brian Grogan SJ\, Bill Mathews SJ\, Peter McVerry SJ\, and Paddy Greene SJ will be running modules at the centre. There is a cost of €850 per year and a €100 deposit.

DESCRIPTION:The Gardiner Street Parish in Dublin welcome back the Gardiner Street Gospel Choir for the 7.30pm mass this Sunday September 3rd. Accompanied by a band and a very active liturgical team\, the choir gather worshippers from the local area and from miles around. Parish priest Gerry Whelan SJ calls in Jesuits such as Peter McVerry SJ to celebrate the lively mass.
