SUMMARY:'Caring for our Common Home'
DESCRIPTION:Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice and Gardiner Street Parish are hosting ‘Caring for our Common Home’\,  an evening to recall Pope Francis’s call to an ecological conversion on Thursday 12 May at 7.30pm at St. Francis Xavier’s Church\, Gardiner Street\, Dublin 1. Fr. Gerry Clarke SJ\, Parish Priest of Gardiner Street Parish and Catherine Devitt\, Environmental Justice Officer with the Jesuit Centre of Faith and Justice will facilitate a workshop and conversation on ‘Caring for our Common Home’. \nAs we approach the first anniversary of Pope Francis’ Encyclical Letter\, ‘Laudato Si’\, here is an opportunity to reflect quietly on our interaction with the environment. Pope Francis encouraged us that\, despite all that is wrong with the stewardship of our environment\, “all is not lost”.  While we are capable of the worst\, we are also capable of rising above ourselves\, choosing again what is good and making a new start. \nFor more information\, contact Fr. Gerry Clarke at Tel: (01) 707 3027\, or email: gclarke@jesuit.ie
