DESCRIPTION:Bring your camera along for a time to notice what is happening around you – and take some time to see what is seeking life within you. These summer days in the setting of Manresa in Dollymount\, Dublin\, will use the lens of photography to consider light and life. Characteristics and qualities of light and composition will be explored and participants will be invited to find\, reflect on and share images. DESCRIPTION:Manresa offers an opportunity to people on twelve-step programmes to deepen their awareness of themselves as they seek to improve their conscious contact with God “as they understand him.” For very many people\, and especially those involved in a 12-Step Programme\, the Serenity Prayer offers a vision of life that is rooted in faith\, open to new possibilities\, and yet serene in the face of limitations. God\, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference. In Steps2Serenity\, Manresa is offering\, on the third Wednesday of each month – except in June\, July and August – for those who are involved on a 12-Step Programme an opportunity\, through prayerful reflection and meditation\, to come to an awareness of themselves as they are and to improve their conscious contact with God as they understand him. No need to book. Just come along yourself\, or a friend or anybody who you think may benefit from an evening of prayer and meditation in a safe and peaceful environment.
