Each day takes place in an atmosphere of silence and comprises a number of elements: reflections\, guided meditations\, prayer and an opportunity to meet with a spiritual director; a celebration of the Eucharist concludes each day. SUMMARY:Jesuits at Lumen Dominican Centre
DESCRIPTION:Brian Grogan SJ will run a five week course entitled Laudato Si’ – Four Years On at Lumen Dominican Centre in Blackrock on Tuesdays from 24 September to 22 October 2019 at 10:30am to 12:00 noon. Pope Francis says\, “We spend billions on trying to find hints of life on other planets\, and trillions on extinguishing the exuberant life on our own.” In this module\, the Pope’s message of hope and his call to eco-conversion will be explored. The cost of the course is €55. \nPeter McVerry SJ\, social activist for homeless people\, will present a talk at the centre on Thursday\, 28 November from 7.15-8.45pm. Admission will be €12. Pre-booking is essential as places are limited.
