In the Spiritual Exercises, Saint Ignatius of Loyola proposes the Examen as a way of prayerfully reviewing one’s life, the better to grow in understanding how God is present and active. The talks of these days will consider who God was to Ignatius and how the steps he proposed retain their vitality for the modern Christian who seeks God in all things.
