‘Salvation comes to us from the poor.’ What does this frequently quoted phrase mean? Who are ‘the poor’ who bring us salvation? Does Pope Francis’ ‘A Church of the Poor for the Poor’ challenge our understanding of God and the traditional spirituality we have inherited? Fr.
