‘The Role of Church in a Pluralist Society’

June 22, 2016 @ 9:00 am - June 24, 2016 @ 3:00 pm

The Loyola Institute at Trinity College Dublin is hosting an International Interdisciplinary Conference entitled ‘The Role of Church in a Pluralist Society – Good Riddance or Good Influence?’ from 22-24 June. This conference is for all who have a general interest in the future of Church. It is for those who ponder on the role of Church in today’s society, and wonder about the kind of Church and society we are creating for future generations. A distinguished panel of speakers has been invited to address questions such as ‘Has Church a distinctive voice in the Public Square?’ and ‘Is the Catholic Church, along with other Christian Churches, just another group fighting for a place in society, seeking to further their own interests?’ Click here to find out more and to register for the conference.
