The Loyola Institute will host a seminar on Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation, ‘Amoris Laetitia’ (The Joy of Love), on Saturday 9 June from 10.30am to 1pm at the ISE/Loyola Building, Trinity College Dublin. The event will be an opportunity to dig a little deeper into the wealth of insights that are afforded by the recent writings of Pope Francis. While many greeted these teachings with great positivity some leading Church figures were unhappy with aspects of the teachings. Some of the questions they raised will be explored. Join Professors Michael Kirwan, Fainche Ryan and Cornelius Casey for what promises to be an exciting event, one which will help prepare for the forthcoming World Meeting of Families, and for Pope Francis’ visit to Ireland. The event is free and all are welcome.
