As the frenzy of the Christmas preparations comes to a climax, many people long for a few days’ peace and stillness, away from the mad rush. Our two Tridua here in Manresa offer just such an opportunity. Choose either the first or second week of Advent to spend some time with the seasonal themes. Centered on the themes of Advent and Christmas, and in an atmosphere of silent prayer and reflection, these days provide an opportunity for people to get in touch with the real meaning of the season and the real wonder of what we celebrate.
A reflection will be offered each morning by a Director suggesting how the day’s prayer and silence might lead to a deeper appreciation of the God who comes to us. Afterwards the Triduum Director and members of the Manresa Team will be available for a personal meeting with those who wish. Daily Mass, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available. Early booking is recommended to ensure a place.
