This evening will involve prayer, silence and sharing. Participants will have opportunities to consider favourite poems and music and to reflect on them prayerfully. Guided by the insights of Ignatian spirituality in an atmosphere of attention to what inspires, this meeting will bring light to autumn evenings.
This retreat offers space to reflect on the time gone by and to ask for God’s grace on the year to come. These days give ample opportunity to engage in prayer, personal reflection, celebrations of Eucharist and to meet individually with a trained spiritual guide.

A selection of Colm Brophy’s art work from 2013–2016 will be on display in the Arrupe room in Milltown Park. Brophy, a trained art psychotherapist and former Jesuit priest, will be presenting his work in an exhibition entitled Up Close and After.
On these eight Thursdays in February and March 2017, we will contemplate creation in its origins, its mighty unfolding, its exquisite expression on earth.
The directed retreat is intended to create an environment where you can meet God intimately, aided by personal prayer, reflection, silence, daily meeting with a director and participation in the Eucharist.
This event is part of the ongoing training for spiritual directors, guides & companions. Facilitated by Dr Pauline Logue, it takes place on 18 March. A limited number of places are available.
This event is an invitation to past participants of the Galway Diocese training course, as well as those who are being asked to accompany others in their parish on their journey into the Church.
