mos_01Professor Stephanie Paulsell, Harvard Divinity, USA, will give a public lecture on ‘Retrieving the Song of Songs for Today’ Tuesday, 7 December, at All Hallows College, Drumcondra, Dublin 9. Her lecture in the Woodlock Hall  (8-9.30 pm), concludes the All Hallows series of autumn public lectures on Spirituality Matters: The Contemporary Study of Spirituality organised by Michael O’ Sullivan SJ (pictured here) who says: “The lecture series was a real success, with large numbers attending. It demonstrated that the study of Spirituality is now more than ever being recognised as an important academic pursuit.” According to Professor Paulsell, her lecture on Tuesday will “explore the Song of Songs as a resource for a contemporary spirituality that is attentive to the goodness of the body, cultivates a posture of devotion towards the world and others, and seeks intimacy with God.”
