Emerging from the mess
Authors Brendan McManus SJ and Jim Deeds latest book is entitled Emerging from the Mess » and is published by Messenger Publications».
Emerging from the Mess explores what can happen in times of uncertainty, grief or darkness in life. These periods can be very difficult. We have all experienced our Garden of Gethsemane “Why have you forsaken me?”. However joy and light does return, particularly when we have an anchor to stabilise us and a guide to gently lead us.
The authors say that if we are patient when we reach what we believe to be the limit of our strength and endurance and learn to live every day like a resurrection day, seeing the giftedness of every moment, we can learn to navigate the storms and trust that God, our shining light, will show and break open the clouds of isolation to guide and protect us.
