Gerry Whelan SJ, an Irish Jesuit and Director of the Department of Fundamental Theology in the Gregorian University, Rome, speaks with Pat Coyle of Irish Jesuit Communications about the life and work of Pope Francis in light of his recent passing.
Gerry focuses particularly on the influence of his Jesuit formation on Francis’ papacy, in tandem with his experience as an Archbishop in the church of Latin America.
