A happy Saturday

On 21 May the Saturday papers made you feel good for once, looking back on the happy visit of Queen Elizabeth – who shook hands with one Jesuit, Peter Sexton, senior chaplain in Trinity College. That Saturday evening was brightened by a memorable game of rugby. Five Jesuit alumni played in the Leinster team which won the final of the Heineken Cup: Gordon D’Arcy & Fergus McFadden (Clongowes – Gordon pictured here), Cian Healy (Belvedere), Kevin McLaughlin (Gonzaga) and Eoin Redden (Crescent). Their dramatic recovery in the second half, from 6-22 to 33-22, made it one of the best finals in living memory.
