As Halloween (Oíche Shamhna in Irish) approaches we turn to an interview from the RNN Archives 2006 where Miriam Gormally speaks with spiritual guide, Dolores Whelan, on theme of Samhain.
Dolores explains how bonfires are an important part of Samhain celebrations. Ancient Celts saw the fire as a place to release things into that have not been fully resolved or harvested, thus beginning a journey of surrender into darkness.
