The origins of Lent

In this episode of the RNN Archives (March 2019) Sister Marie Stuart talks with Father Brendan Coffey of Glenstal Abbey about the origins of Lent. He reminds us that Lent is a preparation time for Baptism and Easter. He also offers his insight on the penitential aspect of Lent.
