All Saints and All Souls
October 27, 2021 in Featured News, Featured Podcasts
The first and second of November are important back-to-back feast days, highly significant in the Church’s liturgical calendar. All Saints on 1 November celebrates all saints and martyrs, known and unknown, throughout Christian history. All Souls on 2 November marks the time of year when people traditionally remember the souls of the faithful departed. In the podcast below, taken from the Soul Waves archives, Dominican Fr Joe Cullen offers a reflection on the two feast days.
Soul Waves Radio was the ecumenical religious news syndication set up by the Jesuits and other religious congregations in 1990. It sent out its last set of news stories and closed up shop at its final AGM on Friday 25 September 2020.
