Pope Video: For victims of abuse
In The Pope Video for March 2023, Pope Francis’s prayer intention focuses on those who have suffered abuse, especially by members of the Church, and on the concrete responses and actions that are needed to alleviate their suffering.
The Pope says “it’s not enough to ask for forgiveness” and that the Church “must offer safe spaces for victims to be heard, supported psychologically, and protected”.
