As we come to the close of a rather grey and dreary January, we raid the RNN Archive to feature Sister Pauline McGrath, a Dominican sister who lives and works in An Tairseach, an ecology-inspired organic farm dedicated to eco-education and protecting the ’eco’, our home in common.
Sister Pauline discusses the rituals of farming and planting at the end of January, saying, spring is a season that brings fresh life and new hope, beginning with St. Brigid’s Day. Despite the still cold and harsh weather, we can be assured that new life is ahead of us”.
