He was citing a Jewish friend who always titles his emails with “BH’ (Baruk HaShem- Glory to the Lord), which reminded him of writing AMDG on his copybooks. For Aidan, ever the poet, this practice “consecrates even soiled or spoiled attempts at meaning”.
