April 5, 2022 in Featured News, Featured Podcasts, News

In this interview from the RNN Archives, Piaras Jackson SJ explains to Eileen Good the significance of the Easter Triduum – the three days of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. It marks the end of Lent and leads to the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil.

Referring to Good Friday as the centre of the three days, Fr Jackson says: “The goodness is in the overcoming of Jesus of death that invites us to think of how we engage with the life that God calls us to”.

Moreover, he says: “We are first of all creatures together as we make our way with God and towards God”.
