Who is a good local?

Director and Social Theologian Kevin Hargaden of the Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice speaks with Pat Coyle of Jesuit Communications about an upcoming lecture that will be given by Rev Dr Hannah Malcom, a young theologian and Church of England Minister. The lecture is entitled ‘Who is a good local? A Theology of Naming and Finding Our Place’. Hannah will be asking those attending the event “How well do you know your place?” Meaning, can you name the bushes and the trees in your local area? Do you recognise the species of flowers around you? Or do you know what type of bird is singing? Kevin Hargaden says this is a particularly pertinent question in this age of alienation and disorientation. Listen to the full interview at above.

The lecture will take place on Tuesday 8 April at 7pm, at 54-72 Gardiner Street Upper, Mountjoy, Dublin 1, D01 TX23. To register for the free event, click here ».
