Belvedere College is hosting an exhibition ‘Strong Hearts Stir‘ and a schedule of events to mark the centenary commemoration of the 1916 Rising on Friday, 29th April and Saturday 30th April at Belvedere House, 6 Great Denmark Street, Dublin 1. The exhibition Belvedere in 1916, will show what life was like in the school 100 years ago and will feature projects by Belvedere College students and the wider Belvedere community. Among the events are a ‘Questions and Answers’ 1916 Special hosted by historian and broadcaster John Bowman with a panel including former Taoiseach John Bruton, and talks by Dr Catriona Crowe of the National Archives, Joe Duffy, broadcaster & Gene Kerrigan, author and journalist. Entry to the exhibition is free.
