Young people’s faith and mission

In the latest Sons of Ignatius podcast, Fr Niall Leahy SJ speaks with members of National Evangelisation Teams (NET) Ministries who are serving at his parish in Gardiner Street, Dublin. These young people, who have taken a year out of their lives to serve God through mission, share their experience of faith and how they came to encounter Jesus in a personal way.

The conversation is inspired by Pope Francis’s Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel). The Pope dreams of a ‘missionary option’ – a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything – so that the Church can be suitably channeled for the evangelisation of today’s world rather than for her self-preservation.
