So says the author Brian Grogan SJ who tries in this book to assist those who would like to grow in love as they grow in age. He believes this is something we cannot do on our own and unlike aging, it doesn’t necessarily happen automatically to us.
In our later years, he suggests, when our hearts and minds are mellowing, perhaps we can imitate God- the same way we imitated our parents when we were young- to grow more fully in his love.
