Pope Video: For respect for human life 

In his prayer intention for July 2026, distributed by the Popes Worldwide Prayer Network », Pope Leo invites us to pray “That the unique and unrepeatable value of every human being might be recognized and that our societies be open to protecting life through love, tenderness and responsibility.”

Acknowledging the challenges of indifference, exclusion, and violence that continue to threaten human dignity, Pope Leo calls for a renewed commitment to recognizing the unique and unrepeatable value of every individual, especially those who are most vulnerable. He encourages societies to reject the “throwaway culture” and instead embrace a culture of love, tenderness, responsibility, and compassionate care.
