Australian Jesuit Richard Leonard debunked many of the myths people believe about the role of God in human suffering in his last book, ‘Where the Hell is God?’ The controversy he stirred in that book, particularly about prayers of petition, has resulted in his just published book ‘Why Bother Praying?’ He talks here to Pat Coyle about this theme.
