Into the Zambian groove
Irish Jesuit Provincial Leonard Moloney SJ has been on visitation to the Jesuit Missions in Zambia and Malawi. He has met with many of the Zambian Jesuits there along with nearly all of the 10 Irish Jesuits.
John Guiney SJ, Director of Irish Jesuit Missions is with him. He recorded the short video above with Leonard who talks about the palpable energy he is experiencing with among the Jesuits whom he meets in Zambia, despite the difficulties and challenges they face.
He remarks on an extraordinary Mass he attended – more than 800 people packed into the church for over two hours for a liturgy full of dance and song. “You didn’t notice the time passing,” Leonard remarks.
