An expectant mother’s experience of Advent

In this interview from our RNN archives, author Helen Gallivan speaks to Miriam Gormally of Soulwaves Radio about how her experience of pregnancy during Advent and giving birth at Christmas led to a whole new appreciation of the birth of Christ and the meaning of the incarnation.

Helen also explains her own experience of transformation and spiritual rebirth at that time. And she refers to the writings of Meister Eckhart, the 14th century Dominican theologian, and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, the 20th century Jesuit paleontologist and theologian.
